About Me

I am a Data Scientist at Genentech, a member of the Roche group, working on the late phase solid tumor (oncology) team. My work focuses on applying statistical and machine learning methods to advance clinical research in oncology.

Research Interests

  • Machine Learning — Variable selection, tree-based models, and high-dimensional inference
  • Bioinformatics — Genomics data analysis and computational biology
  • Causal Inference — Causal reasoning in observational studies and clinical trials

Education

I received my PhD in Statistics and Bioinformatics from North Carolina State University, where I was advised by Dr. Alison Motsinger-Reif. My dissertation, High Dimensional Linear and Tree-based Models in Bioinformatics, explored methods for handling high-dimensional data in biological applications.
